    The brakes are an important component of any automobile. Special care should therefore be taken to ensure that they remain fully functional. A brake fluid exchange is recommended every 2 years. When performing a brake fluid exchange, California Coast Auto Repair makes use of factory recommended brake fluid. A brake fluid exchange involves replacing the brake fluid entirely with fresh brake fluid. 

  • Oil change special

    This service involves draining and refilling your vehicle’s engine oil, replacing your engine oil filter, checking and adjusting other fluid levels, checking and adjusting your tire pressure, filling your windshield washer reservoir, resetting your service indicator light, and performing a multipoint inspection. 

  • Check engine light diagnostics

    This involves running a special full diagnostic on your check engine light. 

  • Brake pad special

    This service involves replacement with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts when necessary, using resurfacing rotors, checking all your brake components, and topping off brake fluid if necessary.

A brake fluid exchange is the process of replacing the entire brake fluid with fresh new fluid. This service is recommended every 2 years and is performed with factory recommended brake fluid.


Bleeding of brake lines is the process of pressurizing the brake system and pushing out fluid until no air bubbles exit the bleeder screw on the caliper. This indicates an air-free system.
